Does the OceanIO Platform support Rate Limiting?

Yes, Rate Limiting is implemented in the OceanIO platform. This means that there is a limit to the number of requests you can make in a given month. The Rate Limiting also prevents you from making too many requests in a burst/spike. Generally, it is recommended to spread the load out so there aren’t spikes of loads in the DaaS system.

The three implemented throttles are:

– Rate Limit

– Burst Limit

– Monthly Limit
