How does the Container Tracking service validate my input?

The OceanIO platform validates all container-IDs against the ISO 6346 standard.

An example of an ISO 6346 compliant container number: CSQU3054383

CSQ represent the owner code, U represent the equipment category identifier, 305438 represent the serial number and 3 represent the last check digit.

The platform also validates Booking Numbers and B/Ls following each specific carrier format. Instead of relying only on exceptions the OceanIO reject B/L and Booking Number, which is known to cause a fail.
