Which standards are used by the OceanIO platform?
The OceanIO API is organized around REST.
Our API:
- has predictable resource-oriented URLs
- accepts JSON-encoded request bodies
- returns JSON-encoded responses
- uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.
Dates and durations follows the international standard ISO 8601 covering the worldwide exchange and communication of the date and time related data.
The Container Tracking service is DCSA compliant.
